Friday 2 October 6-8pm (quiet hour 5-6pm)Join us to celebrate the launch of our new takeover exhibition by Hull and East Yorkshire Children's University, exploring their 30 year anniversary and a history of positive impact through new artwork and archival material made by local children, past beneficiaries, volunteers, staff, partners, supporters and trustees.
Artlink Hull | 87 Gallery is a socially-engaged visual arts organisation, dedicated to bringing the creative arts to everyone, especially people who haven't had the chance to get involved before.
We’re based at our beautiful 87 Gallery in the heart of HU5 in Hull: a hyper local visual art gallery with a national outlook, rooted in the communities we serve, developing world-class talent.
Not everyone grows up believing that art is for them. Artlink Hull | 87 Gallery exists to change that.
Through our free-to-access, professional gallery and programme of workshops and community-led activity, we create meaningful creative opportunities for people who haven't always had access to them — particularly children, young people and adults from under-represented backgrounds. We help people build confidence, develop skills, and find a sense of belonging through creativity and community.
We champion emerging artists and connect local audiences with world-class talent — creating a vibrant creative ecosystem in Hull where individuals can flourish, and communities can reimagine what's possible.
Through our 87 Gallery exhibition programme, we're building a reputation as a socially engaged professional gallery that draws artists from across the UK and beyond, strengthening Hull's arts ecology and the city’s reputation as a centre for arts and culture.
